This policy covers the PortraitPass app for iPhone and Android, made by Batishev Enterprises LLC ("we").
Your photos
- Photos you take or choose in PortraitPass are checked, cropped and saved on your phone only. They are never sent to us or to anyone else.
- Face detection runs on your phone (Apple's Vision framework on iPhone, Google's on-device ML Kit face model on Android). No photo or face data leaves the device.
- The app uses the camera only when you choose to take a photo, and adds photos to your library only when you tap Save. You can share a file yourself with the Share button; where it goes is your choice.
- Deleting the app deletes everything it kept.
What we collect
Nothing. There is no account or sign-in, no ads, no analytics and no third-party tracking tools in the app.
Payments
On iPhone, the one-time unlock is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. The app only asks Apple whether this Apple Account has bought the unlock. We never see your name, Apple Account or payment details.
On Android, the one-time unlock is handled entirely by Google through Google Play. The app only asks Google Play whether this Google account has bought the unlock. We never see your name, Google account or payment details.
Not a government service
PortraitPass is not affiliated with the U.S. Department of State or any government agency. We never submit anything to a government on your behalf.
If you email us
If you write to us, we get your email address and whatever you put in the message. We use it only to reply to you.
Children
Parents can use PortraitPass to make passport photos of their children. Those photos stay on the parent's phone like any other photo; we never receive them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
